It's About Relationship
Movement-sd believes that personal relationships with others is key for every person in ministry. Encouragement, health and strength is found through relationship. We believe that no one should do life or ministry alone, there are no lone rangers. While ministry is rewarding and fulfilling, it can also be tough and at times, seemingly thankless and lonely. If you are in ministry, you need people that believe in you, support you and and want to see you accomplish the vision that God has given you. As we build relationships together, we also connect you to our network of pastors, leaders and churches around the country and the world. Through those connections, you have the opportunity receive and also give in order to build those relationships that are crucial for you personally and in the ministry God has called you to.
We walk in agreement on the essentials of the Christian faith while recognizing freedom in other doctrinal areas where there may be disagreement. Understanding the diversity within the Body of Christ, movement-sd seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ to one another through relationship and be accepting of one another. Movement-sd offers relational accountability but will only have as much authority in a church as the lead pastor and the governing body invites. Our counsel and experience is given based on almost two decades in church life and growth; however, we value the local autonomy of the church and will not violate the structural integrity or the authority of the governing body. Our vision is to help the ministry move towards God's purposes.
